A slow evening of forest bathing, gentle yoga, and fireside tea in the New Forest
Grounded Gatherings is an invitation to properly switch off.
We begin by arriving into the space together, taking a moment to land and settle before moving into the forest. From there, Jess will guide a shinrin-yoku (forest bathing) walk — slow, sensory, and intentionally unhurried. It’s not about where we’re going, but how we move and what we notice along the way.
As the evening softens, we’ll arrive at a quiet meddow spot where Jo will guide a grounded, accessible yoga practice. Nothing performative. Just simple movement, guided by breath and supported by the earth beneath you.
We’ll close around the fire with herbal tea — a chance to warm up, connect, and gently land before heading home.

Who it’s for
This is for you if you’re feeling overwhelmed, overstimulated, or in need of something slower.
It’s also for anyone who’s curious about yoga but doesn’t connect with studio environments, or anyone craving time outdoors with like-minded people.
No experience needed. You can come exactly as you are.
Led by Jess and Jo
Jess is a meditation and shinrin-yoku practitioner with a background in psychology and fitness coaching. Her approach is calm and nature-led, helping people slow down and reconnect through a balance of movement, stillness, and awareness.
Jo is the founder of The Yoga Coffee Club. Her teaching style is grounded, inclusive, and relaxed, with a focus on how things feel rather than how they look. After leaving a high-pressure corporate career, yoga reshaped how she understood balance, and she now shares simple, practical tools to help others find theirs.
Why it matters
Grounded Gatherings is about coming back to basics.
Feet on the earth.
Breath in the body.
Warmth, connection, and space to slow down.
No rushing. No fixing. Just time to be.
The vibe
Soft, slow, and welcoming.
There’s no pressure to perform, no expectations to meet. Just space to move, breathe, and connect - with yourself, with nature, and with others.
Calm, but easy. Structured, but relaxed
